CONNECTING LED STRIPS
Power Source |
| A 16 ft LED strip lighting roll connects to a 12 volt power supply by a female-male connection. Each roll needs 2A power. You can connect two rolls together, using connector shown below, and connect the whole 32 feet to one 4A power supply. |

Cutting LED Strips |

A LED strip light is made of 2" sections where each section consists of 3 LEDs. You can cut the strip at the end of each section. You can connect/link two pieces of LED strips (cut at section markers) using the connectors shown below. |

Bending LED Strips |

A LED strip light can easily be bent around the corner and on the curves. |

Connecting Two strips with Direct Connection |

Remove about half an inch of the tape on the back of the strip, and scratch the back of the strip to remove the adhesive. |

A direct roll to roll connector has two small black lids. . Pull out the lids in both sides. |
|
|
Insert the strip into the connector, and push back the lid. |
|
|
Make sure that the two positive “+” marks are in the same side of the connection.
Test the connection before installation. |

Connecting a strip to a Wired Connector |

The wired connector has a small black lid and two attached wires.
To connect a wired connector to a strip, pull out the black lid. |

| Insert the strip into the connector and push in the lid, and make sure the strip is tight. The polarity is very important for LED lighting. Make sure that the '+' mark is connected to the red wire, and the '-' mark is connected to the black wire. |

Test the connection before installation.
The strip is ready. You can connect it to the power supply (black to black, and red to red), or to another strip with similar connection. |
