COVE LIGHTING INSTALLATION
Our Cove Lighting Kit consists of our patent pending easy to install CoveLedger, our super bright LED strip lighting and necessary connectors. You can use any crown mouldings that you would like and is available at your hardware store.
The Cove Lighting Kit includes Super Bright LED strip and CoveLedger. You need to also purchase low voltage power supply suitable for the lenght of the LED strip that you are going to install. If you are going to install sections longer than 32 feet, you will need to purchase additional power supplies (a 2A power supply can be used for up to 16 feet of LED strip, and a 4A power supply can be used for sections up to 32 feet).

1. Install the CoveLedger |
1.1 Apply adhesive (such as PL 300) to the back of the CoveLedger |

1.2. Place the CoveLedger on the wall, and nail it to the wall.
Cross nail for the best result
Nail under the MDF section on the face of the CoveLedger so that the nail goes through foam and throush the MDF peice on the back of the CoveLedger. Install the CoveLedger all around the wall. |

2. Install LED Lighting |
2.1 Remove the protection of the adhesive tape
Remove the protection a couple of feet at a time. |

2.2. Install LED Lighting
Install the LED lighting on the top of the CoveLedger. |

2.3. Bending the Strip at the Corner You can bend the LED strips at the corners if necessary. |

2.4. Wire up the LED lighting and test |

3. Install Crown Moulding |
3.1 Apply adhesive on the MDF on the face of the CoveLedger
Apply adhesive such as PL 300 on the MDF that will be facing the back of the crown moulding. |

3.2 Install crown moulding
Install your crown mouldings as you would do without cove lighting. Nail the crown moulding to the CoveLedger using a nail gun. The nails should fasten the crown moulding to the MDF section on the face of the CoveLedger. The nails act as a quick fastener. You should also nail the bottom of the crown moulding to the wall.
